Company Vision

We at WordStream believe search engine marketing, as an industry, remains in its infancy. The dominant player in paid search advertising is undoubtedly Google, and the company is just 10 years old.

Given the speed with which search has expanded, it's hard to believe that the future could hold similar potential growth, but we're confident it does.

So where will this growth come from? Well, we believe a major source of growth will be technology; specifically tools which make search marketing more accessible to more companies, as well as software which has the capacity to make individual marketers more efficient and effective. In short: the future of search marketing is in enabling productivity.

We aim to be the leader in this productivity enhancement. Our mission is to make search marketers more effective by constantly innovating and automating on their behalf.

Our founder, Larry Kim, has been using search to build profitable sales for a series of software products since 2000. He knows first-hand how effective search can be for a marketer, but also how monotonous and labor-intensive it can be to do it well. WordStream is a direct by product of that hands-on experience: our software automation and tools are a child of necessity: built by a search marketer for a search marketer. We’ve started with PPC tools that address several of the most painful, time-intensive, and value-added areas of search— keyword discovery, grouping and segmentation, and ad authoring.

But our vision goes well beyond these areas, and as we service our clients and enter into a public dialogue with the search community, we look forward to incorporating feedback and ideas into our vision to develop solutions and services that will drive the most cost-effective marketing tool (search) ever introduced to even greater ROI heights. And that is what progress is all about, isn’t it? Efficiency, productivity, greater ROI—call it what you will. Search delivers, and with better tools from providers like WordStream, search will see accelerating long-term growth.
