The International Publishing Company J-M Ltd. is one of Israel's leading book publishing houses specializing in the production of historical and biblical reference works. 

HISTORY:

The company was founded in 1952 in Jerusalem, Israel by Jehuda Makavy.   It has published many of the leading reference books in biblical and archaeological studies, including the five volume set "Views of the Biblical World" which was translated into more than 20 languages.  This publication, although first printed in 1959, is still considered the most complete reference work dedicated to the coorelation between archaeological discoveries and research in the Holy Land and the Biblical narrative.

The International Publishing Company J-M Ltd has published works by renown biblical archaeologists such as Prof. William Albright, Prof. Yigael Yadin, Prof. Michael Avi-Yonah, Prof. Benjamin Mazar, and Prof. Nahman Avigad, among many others.
